Chetumal, Q.R. — Four names of the candidates who expressed their interest in running for governor of Quintana Roo have been announced. Of those who applied, the Consejo Nacional de Morena has selected four.
On the Morena list for the position of governor for 2022 are José Luis Pech Várguez, Marybel Villegas Canché, Mara Lezama Espinosa and Luis Alegre Salazar.
Out of the 14 who applied, the two men and two women selected will be competing to fill the position next year when the current governor, Carlos Joaquin’s term, comes to an end.
