Mexico City, Mexico — Antonio Martínez Dagnino has been appointed as the new head of the Tax Administration Service (SAT). On Monday, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador appointed Martínez Dagnino as its new head.
On the instructions of the President, the Secretary of the Interior, Adán Augusto López Hernández, accompanied by the Secretary of the Economy, Raquel Buenrostro Sánchez, formalized Dagnino’s new position.
Martínez Dagnino comes to office after Raquel Buenrostro, who held the title of the decentralized administrative body of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, was appointed as Secretary of Economy, replacing Tatiana Clouthier, who resigned from that position last week.
Before being appointed as the new head of the SAT, he worked as Administrador General de Grandes Contribuyentes of SAT (Servicio de Administración Tributaria).
