Cancun, Q.R. — Police say two men already known to them are in custody for the recent murder of a Cancun woman. On Monday, authorities said 18 year old Azael Abdiel “N”, alias “El Monkey” and 23 year old César Javier “N”, alias “Lucifer” are being investigated.
Authorities confirmed the two suspects in the July 30 murder of Mariana “N”. The woman was shot to death last Thursday on 116th Street in SM 235 of Cancun. Her body was left lying on a residential sidewalk.
Police said Monday that during their arrests they seized a firearm, marijuana, and two motorcycles.
According to their investigation, both men participated in the murder of Mariana “N” with Azael Abdiel “N” ordering that a threat message be placed near the victim’s body.
Authorities indicated that the main line of investigation is related to drug dealing activities and confirmed that there are more people allegedly involved in this case.
