Chetumal, Q.R. — Quintana Roo governor Carlos Joaquín is ranked as the third best governor in Mexico. Joaquin takes third place nationally after a citizen approval rate of 63.8 percent.
According to a Mitofsky ranking taken in November, the governor came in third after being ranked fifth earlier in the year. According to the agency, in November of 2020, in the midst of the health contingency, Joaquin ranked sixth with an approval rate of 58.9 percent.
According to the November Mitofsky rankings, first place is occupied by the governor of Yucatán, Mauricio Vila with a 72.4 percent citizen approval rate followed by governor Miguel Riquelme of Coahuila with 69.5 percent.
Mitofsky reported that the average national approval rate for governors across the country is currently 51.2 percent.
