Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Q.R. — Another highway road accident in the municipality of Felipe Carrillo Puerto has killed one person. The two vehicle crash happened this morning on the federal highway killing one and seriously injuring at least one other.

Emergency personnel were called to the site of the crash between the communities of Andrés Quintana Roo and Reforma Agraria around 7:00 a.m. There, they found a company van laying on its side and a private car in the ditch.
Both vehicles were destroyed.
Red Cross paramedics attended to the injured, pronouncing at least one person dead at the scene. There are early reports that the two vehicles collided head on.
Rural Police were first on scene where they found the demolished van laying on its side in the center of the highway. At least one person was reported trapped inside a vehicle.
Official details surrounding the crash are unknown. It is unclear exactly how many people were involved in the accident.
