Cancun, Q.R. — A crash between a motorcycle and Cancun city bus has left one woman in critical condition. The woman was rushed to city hospital Thursday after slamming into the bus in the hotel zone.
Cancun Transit and paramedics rushed to the scene along Kukulcán Boulevard around 6:00 p.m. where they found a woman laying on the road.
According to the preliminary report, the accident involved a motorcycle driven by 18-year-old Giancarlo “N” and a city bus driven by 57-year-old Julio César “N”.
As a result of the impact, the driver of the motorcycle suffered serious injuries. She was reportedly not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. She was transferred to hospital in critical condition.
According to early information, the woman was attempting a lane change when she collided with the bus.
