Puerto Morelos, Q.R. — Two of the four people arrested for a recent robbery in the municipality of Puerto Morelos have been identified as active ministerial police officers.
La Fiscalía General del Estado de Quintana Roo (FGE) reports the arrest of four males alleged responsible for a December home robbery in the town of Leona Vicario in the municipality of Puerto Morelos.
The Attorney General’s Office of Quintana Roo says that acts of corruption or crimes will not be tolerated by those attempting to exploit their positions, explaining that on Saturday, two ministerial police officers were arrested and made available to the judicial authority for the crime of robbery.
The Prosecutor’s Office complied with the arrest warrant against all four men, two of whom have been identified as police officers Luis N and Guillermo N, for a home robbery that took place December 7.
The inquiries are being carried out by the Vice Prosecutor for Internal Affairs, since the two accused serve as active police officers.
Two other subjects identified as Jesus N and Pedro N, were also arrested for their alleged participation in the theft. All four were transferred to the Municipality of Solidaridad.
