Lázaro Cárdenas, Q.R. — Three people have been arrested for the disappearance of two businessmen in the town of Kantunilkín. One of the detainees José “N”, a minor, is also suspected of being linked to the disappearance of the two Chiapas businessmen.

All three were arrested in an operation between the FGE and National Guard on April 15 following the disappearance of businessman Osberth Valle and Fernando Hermosillo Curiel, both last seen in Kantunilkin.
In a press conference this Monday morning, Attorney General Raciel López Salazar reported the arrest of Gabriel “N” , “Venancio” and a minor, 16 year old José “N”. All three were arrested during a large-scale operation in the town of Kantunilkín as follow-up to the disappearance of the Campeche men who were last seen on April 10.
With searches of homes in the neighborhoods of Miguel Borge Martin, Xamankah, Expo and Colonia Centro, the three subjects were arrested. They have been identified as alleged hawks sent to monitor the pair and report back to the head of a criminal group.

On April 15, their Volkswagen Jetta was found in the community of Valladolid Nuevo, however, their whereabouts are still unknown.
