Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Q.R. — The second victim of a head-on motorcycle crash in Felipe Carrillo Puerto has died. The accident happened on September 24 on a public street when one driver suddenly changed direction.
Two motorcycles hit head on bursting one of the bikes into pieces and sending both young drivers to hospital in serious condition. One of the drivers involved in the accident died in a Chetumal hospital two days later.
The second of the two drivers, a 19-year-old male, has also died. He died in a Playa del Carmen hospital after spending nearly two weeks hospitalized from head trauma. His family were in the process of raising funds for surgery when he died.
