Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Q.R. — Two people were seriously injured after two motorcycles collided. The accident happened in the town of Felipe Carrillo Puerto when one of the drivers suddenly changed direction.
Police were at the scene of the accident where they located two unconscious men and scattered motorbike debris.
According to early information, one of the drivers was traveling from east to west. Upon reaching the 56th Street intersection, he attempted to turn down a street which is when he collided head on with another fast moving motorcycle.
Both men were thrown from their bikes. One of the motorcycles was found in busted pieces from the high speed impact.
Paramedics stabilized both men at the scene before transporting them to hospital. Both were listed in serious condition, having suffered numerous serious injuries.
