Puerto Morelos, Q.R. — Puerto Morelos police have arrested a man they say, was wanted on corruption of minor charges. The man, identified as Franklin C, was detained and jailed Saturday on an outstanding arrest warrant.
In a press release, the General Prosecutor of the State of Quintana Roo reported the arrest of Franklin C “for his probable participation in the crime of corruption of minors to the detriment of a minor female.”
The agency explained that the incident “occurred in the early hours of March 7, when the victim boarded the taxi that the defendant was driving in the streets of the municipality of Puerto Morelos.
“Minutes later, Franklin C apparently gave the victim alcoholic beverages and then took her to a motel, where he also offered her psychotropic substances.”
The FGE reported that Franklin C was arrested from a public Puerto Morelos street and jailed to face charges.
