Cancun, Q.R. — Local authorities are investigating the discovery of a man’s body found at a Cancun construction site Wednesday. The body was located by a citizen laying among broken rocks on a site in SM 260.
Municipal Police officers were first on scene to confirm the report.
The body of an adult male was confirmed found in among a pile of rubble on the construction site. According to local reports, the man had visible signs of torture.
Investigative Police Agents from the FGE arrived to take over the scene. Forensic medical personnel arrived to remove the body.
Authorities have not made any public comment on the Wednesday afternoon finding.
