Puerto Morelos, Q.R. — The Attorney General of the State of Quintana Roo reports that ministerial police officers complied with an arrest warrant against a former police officer for the crime of rape.
La Fiscalía General del Estado (FGE) says they have arrested former police officer Alberto N for an event that allegedly took place December 3 with a minor victim of reserved identity. They say that their first investigations establish the event took place December 3 inside a stationery station located in the Villas La Playa neighborhood in the municipality of Puerto Morelos.
Alberto N was taken into police custody and will face trial. He is being held until that time.
