Cancun, Q.R. — A 24-year-old woman was killed and a man injured Monday morning on in inner city highway accident.
Witnesses reported seeing the driver of the motorcycle attempting to pass two vehicles when he was struck by a bus.
The driver of the truck involved in the accident kept going. The impact threw the motorcycle forward and into a car that was traveling in the same direction along Bonampak Avenue.
At the scene, paramedics confirmed the death of Denis Pilar “N”, his passenger. The motorcycle driver, 40 year old Leonardo Julián “N”, was transferred to hospital.
Cancun police are in search of the transport bus that was involved and fled the scene.
