Driver transporting load of steel flips truck onto roof

Lázaro Cárdenas, Q.R. —  National Guard Highways were first on scene where a cargo truck flipped, scattering his load along the road. The single vehicle accident happened on a section of the federal highway near Lázaro Cárdenas Friday.

The driver of the cargo truck was transporting a load of steel when he overturned. The flipped vehicle ended up coming to a rest in the center of the road, partially blocking traffic. National Guard Highways responded to the report of an accident that left an industrial truck on its roof.

One lane of traffic was left open for vehicles traveling in both directions. National Guard pushed passing motorists through the area while the spilled load and overturned vehicle were cleared from the highway.

The driver of the cargo truck was not seriously injured. Authorities did not say how the driver managed to flip his vehicle.
