Cancun, Q.R. — A 17 year old Cancun teen was killed over the weekend during an attack at his home over a neighbor dispute. A second man was also injured and rushed to hospital by police.
The shooting happened at a home on 48th Street in Cancun early Sunday morning.
According to information gathered, neighbors reported gunfire that left two men injured.
Both were taken to hospital, one in a private car and the other, by police.
One man, 22 year old Juan “N”, was treated for a bullet wound to his leg. The other, the teenager, was admitted to hospital with several gunshot wounds to his chest. He died in hospital.
Neighbors identified a local man as the gunman. He was arrested by Municipal Police Sunday from the scene.
According to early information, the shooting was the result of an ongoing neighbor dispute.
