Puerto Morelos, Q.R. — The bodies of two youths have been discovered inside a dry cenote in the municipality of Puerto Morelos. The bodies, which are of two brothers, were found by locals in a cenote hole in the town of Leona Vicario.
Police were notified of the finding Thursday around noon when those who discovered the lime-covered bodies called emergency services. The small opening of the cenote had been covered with a large rock. Responding police reported that inside the hole were the bodies of two twin brothers. Both had been shot.
Details surrounding the deaths along with their identities, have not been released.
