Tulum, Q.R. — Another illegal party has been shut down in Tulum as health official warn the state is on the brink of returning to confinement due to the continued increase of covid infections.

Over the weekend, both health and city officials from Tulum attended to an organized party in Cristal. Officials, who were accompanied by police, arrived at the site around 3:00 a.m to find it was beyond capacity.

An official statement from Tulum city council said “inspectors placed closure seals at the entrance of the place and the attendees were invited to leave for not having the permits in order and not respecting the capacity of people according to the orange color at the state epidemiological light.”
