Akumal, Q.R. — Investigative Police of the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) in coordination with elements of the State Secretariat of Public Security have identified the two arrested and alleged responsible for the murder of two youths on the Akumal pedestrian bridge.
According to preliminary information provided by the Prosecutor’s Office, Francisco L and José S were captured in flagrante delicto, accused of the crime of homicide in the wrongful deaths of two males on September 9.
Their murders were registered around 3:00 p.m. Wednesday as the two men were descending from the bridge. They were both shot and left for dead. Both men, local residents of Akumal, were pronounced on scene. There has not been any possible motive given for the shooting.
