José María Morelos, Q.R. — To strengthen health services in the municipality, Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa and José María Morelos Mayor Erik Borges Yam, joined forces to provide a general health clinic.
Mayor Erik Borges Yam is personally supervising the project that includes the complete rehabilitation of the former House of Culture. The new health facility is anticipated to serve more than 26,000 people.
“This is a project of our Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa who intends to strengthen health services. The first dynamic is to carry out an affiliation process to be able to access medical services such as dentist, clinical analysis, ophthalmologists, pharmacy, general consultations, etc., and cover everything in terms of health care for the families of the 64 communities,” said the mayor
He indicated that a website will be created so people can register with the local health system. This way, everyone will have the opportunity to be part of this great health project, he said.
