Cancun, Q.R.– A male has died after being shot several times near the Cancun Ultramar station in Cancun.
The shooting happened Tuesday night at approximately 9:45 p.m. in Puerto Juarez, where a male person died after being hit by gunfire near the parking lot. The shooting was reported by passersby and motorists who say they heard several gunshots before seeing a person lying on the ground.
Police and paramedics arrived, however, the male was pronounced at the scene. Members from varying police and military units taped off the area in both directions of the street.
This is the same area where in April, an Isla Mujeres police officer was shot and killed.
