I am writing to publicly thank Cancun surgeon Dr. Víctor Castro Ocegueda for the outstanding surgical care he provided to my brother Stephen following an incident with a boat while he was snorkeling.
Significant leg wounds resulted from impact with the boat’s propeller. My brother was hospitalized under the care of Dr. Victor from Feb 1st to Feb 13th when he was air evacuated to his home hospital in Canada. During that time Dr. Victor performed several surgeries and was always available, kind and supportive of my sister-in-law Audrey.
His expert care and advocacy on behalf of my brother ensured positive outcomes. Greetings, hugs and gratitude to the entire hospital team at Hospital Azura Cancún who provided care to my brother. Our family is forever grateful.
