José María Morelos, Q.R. — Mayor Erik Borges Yam says his municipal police force has a new Deputy Director. Lucely Rojas Caamal was appointed the new position in a ceremony Tuesday morning.
The 37-year-old is a native of José María Morelos and has spent many years as a Public Security agent. During her career, she has obtained several recognitions for her outstanding service.
José María Morelos Mayor Borge Yam made a point of mentioning that Rojas Caamal is the first ever woman to be appointed such a position in the municipality.
The event was attended by the Police Director Vicente Peech Zapata, Deputy Director of Traffic Mauricio Gasca Reyes, Councilor Commissioner Luis Tun Sandoval and members of the municipal police.
