José María Morelos, Q.R. — Search and recovery members from the state have found the skeletal remains of two people. On Thursday, the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) reported on their Wednesday finding.
The agency reported the discovery of skeletal remains during a search operation for missing persons in a jungle area of José María Morelos. “The ooperation, carried out with the support of the Coordination Group for the Construction of Peace and Security of Quintana Roo, located skeletal remains corresponding to two bodies.”
The remains were found with the help of cadaver dogs. The bodies were collected from the jungle area. The FGE says the state will now focus on identifying who they were.
