Cancun, Q.R. — Another shipment of drugs being made through a courior company was discovered at the Cancun International Airport.
The shipment was found by a narcotics dog who took an interest in two recently-arrived boxes. When inspected, federal officers discovered both boxes contained marijuana. A total of 27.6 kilos were seized.
Police noted that this shipment was sent from Oaxaca with a final destination in Cancun. Police will investigate further into the address labeled on the boxes.
The drugs were made available to the Attorney General’s Office to continue the investigation.
This latest find is similar to a find last week when the same dog detected a drug shipment of 32 kilos also bound for a home in Cancun.
