Cozumel, Q.R. — Navy personnel have set out again to find another Cozumel diver who was reported missing by a boat captain.
Assistance to locate a man aboard the boat Aquarius was made to marine officials after the diver did not resurface. The call for help came from the boat’s crew who were located approximately 10 nautical miles north of the lighthouse of Punta Molas.
Navy personnel from Cozumel set out to sea to look for the man who was found adrift about two hours into their search. They report that Gerardo H.H. was located slightly dehydrated, but in overall good health.
A week ago, two missing divers were successfully located off Cozumel when their boat’s captain reported them missing.
