Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A construction worker died after falling from a height of more than five meters while working on a building in the area of the Grand Coral Golf & Spa complex.
The accident happened during the afternoon hours Monday when a worker reportedly fell from Building C of what will be the new Secrets Hotel.
Municipal police arrived at the accident site shortly before 3:00 p.m. to investigate the report of a deceased worker.
Members of the Forensic Medical Service also arrived to remove the body. The deceased man has not been identified.
