Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — The driver of a car that hit a Playa del Carmen mototaxi was arrested over the weekend, but not for the accident itself.
The female driver of a Chevrolet was reported after she hit and toppled a mototaxi unit on avenida Sur. The driver of the taxi unit was approaching avenida Azulejos when he was hit. The impact caused his unit to fall over.
Although there were no reported injuries, the woman of the car was arrested by police for driving without insurance.
Both vehicles were towed to the impound.
