Cancun, Q.R. — Two grow ops were found and seized over the weekend in Cancun by police who were supported by the navy, military and state elements.
The homes, which were discovered in two separate regions of the city, were searched by police who reported that aside from marijuana plants, they also seized 200 rounds of ammunition.
The Attorney General’s Office reports that the grow operations were found in Region 235 and 107 of Cancun in residential neighborhoods. The homes were used exclusively for pot growing.
From each, police removed seeds, fertilizers, lamps and more than 200 firearm cartridges of various calibers.
Both homes were also seized. Ministerial Police were supported by the Navy of Mexico, the Military Police and the State Police.
