The pair were arrested by Policía Ministerial after a review of the vehicle in which they were traveling revealed guns, ammunition and bags of narcotics. In a press release, la Fiscalía General del Estado de Quintana Roo says Erick N and Néstor N were arrested when police found three AR-15 weapons, more than 600 cartridges and bags of marijuana and cocaine inside their vehicle.
