Three wounded in Playa del Carmen shooting

Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Two adults and one child were wounded by gunfire outside the Lions Club in the Las Palmas subdivision of Playa del Carmen.

The shootings occurred Wednesday while they were on the street when they report two men in a white car pulled up and shot at them on Las Palmas Boulevard.

The injured have been identified as 44-year-old Jorge D.A. who is a Mezcal distributor, along with 37-year old Rufino R.C. One minor, identified as 13-year-old C.R.C., was also injured.

All three were taken to the General Hospital in a private vehicle for non-life-threatening medical attention.
