Three sent to Felipe Carrillo Puerto hospital in fiery car-motorcycle collision

Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Q.R. — Two adults and a minor were injured after colliding with a car that burst into flames. The fire started after the car collided with a motorcycle in Felipe Carrillo Puerto.

The two vehicle crash happened in the Jesús Martínez Ross neighborhood late Tuesday. According to early information, the driver of the car crossed into oncoming traffic, causing the collission with the motorcycle.

Two adults and a 6-year-old minor on the motorcycle were rushed to hospital.

Felipe Carrillo Puerto Transit police were on the scene gathering information when the car suddenly burst into flames. A nearby fire extinguisher from inside the police cruiser was used in an attempt to extinguish the flames, but was of little use.

The car burned in its entirety before firemen were able to put it out.
