Cancun, Q.R. — Three human heads were found in front of the Infantry Battalion in Cancun Monday. Authorities made the grisly discovery after receiving a residential report of a large threat message strung between two trees.
Authorities found the large handwritten banner in front of the military building on José López Portillo Avenue around 7:30 p.m. While there, they made a second discovery. Three human heads.
Cancun Police and National Guard cordoned off a section of José López Portillo Avenue for the removal of the heads.
Local authorities have not revealed the message on the banner or to whom it was directed. So far, there has not been any public comment made regarding the finding.
