Cozumel, Q.R. — Thieves have made off with more than 100 iPhones after robbing a Telcel store in Cozumel.
The robbery was discovered 10:00 a.m. Monday when an employee showed up for work. After entering the store, they noticed the robbery, which included more than 100 missing phones along with other items.
The Telcel Center, which is located on Avenida Juárez with 35 avenida in the colonia of Adolfo López Mateos, was closed to customers Monday while police investigated.
Reports say that police found a small hole that had been made through the exterior wall of the building. The store’s manager, Manuel D, said that the hole was made on the south side of the store in an area that adjoins with another property.
A recent robbery at a Cozumel Coppel store shares similar characteristics as this latest break-in at the Telcel Center.
