Cozumel, Q.R. — An 11:30 p.m. house raid in Cozumel has lead police to the discovery of drugs which resulted in one arrest.
Agents of the State Attorney General’s Office and elements of the National Guard searched a private home where they secured a large amount of drugs and arrested one person. The search was the result of a warrant issued by a Cozumel judge.
La Fiscalía General del Estado (FGE) raided the private home in colonia 10 de Abril due to suspicions of illegal activity. Inside the home, the FGE and Guardia Nacional found nearly 100 bags of drugs that included marijuana, cocaine and crack.
