Cancun, Q.R. — Alberto Capella Ibarra, Chief of Police of Quintana Roo, announces two new members to the state’s security team.
Capella says that Miguel Ángel Marín Martínez has officially taken over the position as the new Subsecretario de Seguridad Pública en Quintana Roo (undersecretary of Public Safety in Quintana Roo), replacing Javier Viruete who has left the position for personal reasons.
He has also announced that Belisario Marín Salvatti has been chosen as the new Director General de la Policía Ministerial en Quintana Roo, and began his new position Monday.
Belisario Marín, who worked in the Attorney General’s Office in Mexico City, will now be in charge of investigating crimes in Quintana Roo.
