Seven served warrants in relation to the discovery of burned Cancun body

Cancun, Q.R. — Seven people who were being investigated for a city murder have been served arrest warrants. They became part of an investigation after their arrests last week on drug related charges.

The seven now accused of Cancun the murder were part of a group of 13 people taken into police custody in SM 252 of Cancun last week. They have since been rearrested for the murder of a woman.

According to a statement by the State Attorney General’s (FGE) Office, the seven were served their arrest warrants in SM 255. They are being charged with the October murder of a woman from the city of Cancun.

Michel Jesús “N”, Luis Alberto “N”, José Miguel “N”, Carlos Alberto “N”, Jorge Eduardo “N”, Ángeles Trinidad “N” and Minerva “N” have been detained.

“Based on the first acts of investigation, the seven people arrested could be related to the appearance of a burned female person found inside a dairy barrel on a dirt road in Superblock 253 of Cancun, an event that occurred on the 22nd of October of this year,” the FGE detailed.

Police began their investigation and were successful in obtaining arrest warrants for all seven.
