Quintana Roo Emergency 9-1-1 operators receive technological training

Riviera Maya, Q.R. — The first symposium of Command and Control Centers began at the facilities of the C5 Security Complex in Cancun Thursday. The symposium is in alliance with company Seguritech who offers integral security and technology, and is aimed at State and Municipal personnel who operate the 9-1-1 emergency lines.

Emergency service personnel from around the state are being trained “to continue covering the needs of the people,” said police head Julio César Gómez Torres.

In a statement, Gómez Torres, who heads the Secretaría de Seguridad Ciudadana (SSC) of Quintana Roo, explained that the presentations are essential to continue covering the needs of the people of Quintana Roo with quality.

Emergency 9-1-1 operators around Quintana Roo will spend three days being trained with Mexican company Seguirtech.

“For three days, the elements will reinforce their knowledge to improve the response capacities to emergencies and critical situations of the citizens,” the Secretaría de Seguridad Ciudadana de Q.Roo reported.
