Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Q.R. — A produce truck heading to a business with an early morning delivery did not make it. The driver of the company truck lost control while taking a corner near the town of Tasistal.
Passing motorists alerted police to the single-vehicle accident on a section of the Felipe Carrillo Puerto-Chetumal highway. National Guard Highway Division were first on scene, locating the toppled truck.
The driver, who was not injured, said he was on his way to deliver fresh produce to a pizza chain restaurant when the accident happened. Speed was factored into the possible cause of the early morning accident.
