Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Four people found in posession of drugs and weapons have been arrested in a residential area of Playa del Carmen.
The arrest took place after an Emergency 911 report was received from residents in Villas del Sol of a vehicle with men and weapons.
When Quintana Roo Police arrived, they saw the truck in which the four men were traveling, seeing that one of them was carrying a firearm. Once stopped, a review of the vehicle revealed a 9-millimeter caliber firearm, a revolver, ammuniation, four bags of drugs and cash.
Taken into police custody were 38-year-old Víctor Manuel N as well as 34-year-old Fernando N, 20-year-old Adrián Alfredo N and Arturo N, 24. The four were presented before the Public Ministry.
