Playa del Carmen firemen rescue two huskies from inside CFE box

Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Two dogs that fell into a deep electrical box were rescued alive by Playa del Carmen firemen. The incident happened Wednesday in the Villas del Sol residential area from where authorities received the report.

At the scene, firemen located two dogs who had fallen into an in-ground CFE electrical box on Constituyentes Avenue.

A nearby neighbor called authorities for help after she reported hearing strange barking. When she followed the sound, she found two huskies at the bottom of the CFE box.

The two dogs are reported to have escaped from their yard when they ended up in the hole. Firemen were able to pull both dogs up to ground level and out of the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) box without incident.

The dogs were eventually returned to their owners who were reportedly searching for them.
