Cancun, Q.R. — The State Attorney General, Oscar Montes de Oca Rosales, has confirmed the arrest of a suspected hit man who allegedly participated in the shooting death of a man in Cancun.
The shooting happened around 10:25 a.m. Thursday on Avenida José López Portillo in SM 64 when the driver of a Lincoln truck was shot and killed while driving. The driver of the vehicle has been identified as Martín Concepción C.R. who was in the company of a 5-year-old child who was unharmed.
At a press conference, Montes de Oca said that Martín Concepción had an outstanding arrest warrant for drug-related charges and is a situation that is being investigated to determine the motive for his death.
Oscar Montes de Oca identified the alleged shooter as 52-year-old Lucas N from Tecpan de Galeana, Guerrero. He was taken into custody in SM 75 after a chase by elements of the Ministerial Police.
