Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — An allegedly intoxicated driver managed to roll his vehicle over and onto its roof in downtown Playa del Carmen, ending up on a center median.
The male driver of the red Nissan has been identified as William R.R. His vehicle was found on its roof around 5:30 a.m. on Juarez Avenue in central Playa del Carmen. Luckily there were no reported injuries, including to the driver, however, his vehicle sustained an approximate 50,000 peso in damage.
Police did arrive to arrest the intoxicated driver. He was taken to jail to await the public prosecutor, while his car was towed to the pound.
