Cozumel, Q.R. — An island resident was pronounced by medical personnel after collapsing while walking along the street.
Police sources say the 45-year-old male died of an apparent attack while walking along calle 5 sur near avenida Rafael E. Melgar in the city’s center. The man was known in the area, apparently a frequent sufferer of seizures.
The unidentified man is said to have been an expat. Forensic staff arrived to transport the body to their facilities to determine the official cause of death.
