Isla Mujeres one of beneficiaries for new ambulance

Isla Mujeres, Q.R. — The island of Isla Mujeres is one of the government beneficiaries to receive a new ambulance.

The director of the Community Hospital of Isla Mujeres, Miguel Ángel García Albarrán announced the arrival of the new ambulance this week, noting it was much needed. He says that on Saturday, the new ambulance was presented to the medical staff.

“We are very happy because just on Saturday, an ambulance arrived from the 33 that the State Government delivered to different municipalities and communities with Isla Mujeres being one of the beneficiaries,” he commented.

García Albarrán said that it is a fully equipped unit to make transfers that will undoubtedly improve the service, adding that the other ambulance of the hospital will be returned to the Ministry of Health in order to receive maintenance.

Earlier this month, the State Secretary of Health announced 33 new ambulances would be distributed to areas in need, one of which was Isla Mujeres.
