Cancun, Q.R. — Mexican airline Interjet has announced the opening of its direct route to the city of Lima, Peru flying to and from Cancun beginning June 17.
As part of its international expansion plan, the company announced the start of operations saying that the flights will be operated with an Airbus A320 aircraft for 150 passengers. The new daily flights will fly Lima to Cancun, departing at 6:00 a.m. and arriving at 11:20 a.m., while the Cancun to Lima daily flights will depart at 6:55 p.m.
The daily flights will run from June 17 to November 30 and will mark the third consecutive year the airline has offered the seasonal route.
