Government donates electric wheelchair to six year old who sells homemade bracelets to pay for therapy

Chetumal, Q.R. — Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa and the honorary president of the Quintana Roo DIF System fulfilled the donation of an electric wheelchair. The electric wheelchair was given to young Roxana Naima Tejada Ronson so that like other girls and boys, she can have a better quality of life.

The minor, aged 6, suffers from a muscular disability, congenital multiple arthrogryposis and requires chair support to live better.

“She is an extraordinary girl and we are going to support her, we are going to help her with her therapies. She is an intelligent girl who makes and sells bracelets for her therapy.

“We embrace her with all our love because of that strength of will, and that is why we work 24/7 to transform lives. We are going to help her with everything she needs,” said the Governor.
