Fifth grade students taught about environmental care and recycling

Lázaro Cárdenas, Q.R. — A group of fifth grade elementary students have been taught about environmental education. The group of kids from the Lázaro Cárdenas Elementary School were lectured by personnel from the municipal ecology department.

The kids were taught about caring for the environment, reforestation and recycling. They were also taught about saving power and water and having respect for animals.

Lázaro Cárdenas City Hall said “the Ecology Department held a talk with the fifth grade students of the Lázaro Cárdenas elementary school where the staff brought the message about Environmental Education with the purpose of raising awareness about caring for the environment.

“Students were presented with actions that help protect our planet Earth, such as recycling garbage, reforestation, care and respect for living beings, saving water and electricity, among other actions.”
