Cancun, Q.R. — Eight people were left with injuries after a pubic transport van crashed into an electric post in central Cancun.
The accident happened Sunday on José López Portillo Avenue in Region 98. Traffic agents noted that the driver of the public combi was traveling at excessive speed, lost control and was unable to stop due to a lack of breaks.
The combi ended up crashing against an electric pole, causing traffic chaos and a large amount of damaged to his vehicle. In the accident, eight people were reported injured with at least two being taken to hospital.
