Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Q.R. — Three people were injured as a result of a truck overturning on a section of highway. The accident happened over the weekend along a stretch of highway between the towns of Felipe Carrillo Puerto and Limones.
The driver of the truck lost control when a tire burst. The relatively new pickup rolled several times before coming to an upright stop in deep vegetation. Paramedics treated the driver and his two passengers at the scene before transferring them to the Felipe Carrillo Puerto General Hospital.
A tow truck arrived to pull the truck from the roadside trees where it came to a rest.
